Astorre X Defense · Public Safety · Police — for the institutions that protect a nation

Train the people who defend your country. Against an adversary that thinks.

Astorre X Defense is the AI exercise platform for the institutions that prepare a country’s defenders: military academies, staff colleges, NCO schools, military high schools and the training departments of the armed forces — and, on the same engine, Astorre X Public Safety for emergency services, fire and rescue and civil protection, and Astorre X Police for police, gendarmerie and border-police academies. A whole course plans the same operation at the same time. The AI plays the adversary and every other actor — allies, authorities, media, population — reacts to every decision, and turns each exercise into an after-action review that cites its evidence. Your officers decide. Always.

What changes

One instructor. A whole course. An entire opposing force.

A realistic exercise used to need a room of role-players, a white cell and days of preparation — so it happened a few times a year. With Astorre X Defense it can happen every week.

An adversary that adaptsThe AI plays the opposing force and answers every decision — turn after turn, in character, never the same twice.
Every other actor, playedAllies, host-nation authorities, international organisations, media and population react as they would — so students learn to command in a crowded, noisy world.
Evidence, not impressionsEvery finding in the after-action review points to the moment it happened. Instructors assess on clear criteria and keep the final word on every score.

The next phase

Amstercode now builds for the people who are trained to protect others.

For years we built Astorre X for businesses: products that answer customers, take calls, find tenders, read official post and remember conversations. The same engine — one that reasons, plays roles and shows the source of every conclusion — can do something more demanding: put a whole course inside a realistic operation and let it think under pressure. Astorre X Defense is the first product of that new phase. And the existing Astorre X products keep getting better, for every business that already relies on them.

One engine, three editions

Built for the schools that train for the worst day.

Each edition has its own exercises, its own vocabulary and its own sign-in — and is ready the moment an academy signs in.

Astorre X Defense

For military academies, staff colleges, NCO schools and military high schools

  • Air, land, naval and joint exercises on a schematic exercise radar
  • The military planning process, from mission analysis to a signed concept of operations
  • The AI plays the adversary — always fictional — and allies, authorities, media and population
  • Assessment on clear criteria, with the evidence behind every score

Astorre X Public Safety

For emergency-management inspectorates, fire and rescue services, civil protection and their academies

  • Fires, floods, earthquakes, hazardous materials, mass-casualty incidents and evacuations
  • A live command-centre picture: the incident spreads, units move, emergency calls rise
  • The AI plays the public, the media, hospitals, local authorities and every other agency
  • Command decisions under pressure, reviewed with the evidence of what happened

Astorre X Police

For police academies, gendarmerie and border-police schools

  • Public order, major events, hostage and crisis negotiation, border incidents
  • De-escalation, proportionality and communication with citizens, assessed on clear criteria
  • The AI plays crowds, organisers, witnesses, media and, where the scenario has one, the opposing side
  • The instructor follows every team live and keeps the final word

Two ways to use it

Open it in a browser tomorrow. Or install it on your own campus.

Nothing to install for instructors or students: a browser is enough. Institutions that need everything inside their own walls get the same platform installed on their own servers.

In the browser · ready now

  • Instructors and students sign in from any computer, tablet or phone
  • Nothing to install, no IT project — a course can start as soon as the pilot is agreed
  • Hosted on a dedicated server in the EU (Germany), with each institution kept separate
  • Updates and improvements arrive without any work on your side

On your campus · without internet

  • We install Astorre X Defense inside your own network
  • The AI runs on a server on your campus, so exercise data stays with you
  • Without AI, exercises run with no internet connection; AI on your own servers is configured and tested with you at installation
  • Planned with you before the pilot, as an installation project

How an exercise runs

A whole course, one operation, every syndicate in parallel.

  1. The instructor sets it upChooses a scenario from the library or builds one, forms the syndicates and starts the clock.
  2. OrientationEvery syndicate receives the same situation, its own role briefs and its own information.
  3. PlanningMission analysis, courses of action and their assumptions — written by the students.
  4. The other sides respondThe AI plays the adversary and every other actor, turn by turn, in character.
  5. DecisionA person decides. The instructor’s screen splits and shows, live, exactly what each team sees.
  6. After-action reviewPrepared for the instructor, every finding linked to the events it rests on.

For the instructor

You run the exercise. The platform does the role-playing.

Running a realistic exercise usually needs a room full of role-players, a white cell and days of preparation. Astorre X Defense gives one instructor the whole cast.

Scenarios

  • A ready libraryMilitary, emergency-service and police exercises, translated, with code names kept as code names.
  • Your own scenariosBuilt with the scenario studio from your syllabus, reviewed and approved by the exercise director before use.
  • Fictional countries, fictional adversaryEvery exercise is set in invented countries; the opposing side is never a real state or group.

Assessment

  • Five clear criteriaEach student is assessed on five clear criteria; the AI suggests a score with its evidence, and the instructor reviews and can override every score.
  • Grades outExported as a spreadsheet (CSV) that learning platforms can import.

Record

  • An audit trailEvery action recorded in a log chained with hashes.
  • Signed plansApproved plans exported with a digital signature.
  • Every official EU languagePlus Norwegian — the interface, the exercises and the guides.

Control and data

Built for institutions that ask hard questions first.

People decideThe AI recommends and role-plays. Nothing is approved without a person.
Sources, not opinionsEvery recommendation and every finding cites the events it rests on.
Student data kept to a minimumWe do not use student data to train AI models. Use fictional or public scenario data only — the platform is not accredited for classified information.
On your campus, or hosted in the EUWe install it inside your own network, with the AI running on your own server — or you use it hosted on a server in Germany. Sign-in with hardware security keys is available, and an institution can make it mandatory.

How to start

Questions

Asked before the first exercise.

What is Astorre X Defense?

The AI exercise platform for military academies, staff colleges, NCO schools and the training departments of the armed forces. The instructor runs the exercise; cadets and officers plan and decide in syndicates; the AI plays the adversary and every other actor, and prepares the after-action review.

Who is it for?

Astorre X Defense is for military academies, staff colleges, NCO schools and military high schools. On the same engine, Astorre X Public Safety is for emergency-management inspectorates, fire and rescue services and civil protection, and Astorre X Police is for police academies, gendarmerie and border-police schools.

Can the instructor see what the students see?

Yes. When an exercise starts, the instructor’s screen splits: on one side the instructor’s console, on the other exactly what the selected team sees, live, with every decision as it is made. Students are told that the instructor can follow the exercise.

Does the AI decide anything?

No. People plan and decide. Every recommendation cites the events it rests on, and nothing is approved without a person.

Is the adversary a real country?

No. Every scenario is set in invented countries, and the adversary is always fictional and never named after a real state or group.

Can it run on our campus, without internet?

Yes. We install Astorre X Defense inside your own network, with the AI running on a server on your campus, so exercise data stays with you. We plan the installation with you before the pilot. It is also available hosted in the EU (Germany).

Which languages does it support?

Every official language of the European Union, plus Norwegian. Scenarios run in your national language, or in English for multinational courses.

What happens to student data?

It is kept to a minimum, and we do not use student data to train AI models. Use fictional or public scenario data only — the platform is not accredited for classified information.

How are students assessed?

On five clear criteria: mission analysis, feasibility of the course of action, decision timeliness, use of critical information requirements and communication. The AI suggests a score with the evidence behind it; the instructor reviews and can override every score. Grades export as a spreadsheet (CSV) that learning platforms can import.

Do we need to install anything?

No. Instructors and students use it in a browser, on any computer, tablet or phone, at defense.astorrex.com. If you prefer, we install it on your own campus instead, with no internet connection needed.

How do we start?

Write to office@amstercode.com from your institution’s e-mail address. We present the platform online, then open your academy account: the academy adds its instructors, the instructors add their students — guided step by step, with an instruction video. A written offer follows, with a fixed scope and a fixed price.

How much does it cost?

The price is in the written offer we send after the presentation, because it depends on the institution and the scope.
